POSITION: Produce Associate
JOB TYPE: Full Time and Part Time
SALARIO: $14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Handling and Stocking: Unload, inspect, and stock fresh produce onto shelves, ensuring proper rotation to maintain quality and freshness.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect produce for spoilage or damage, removing unsellable items and maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Display Maintenance: Create attractive and organized displays to showcase seasonal and promotional produce items.
- Sanitation and Safety: Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisors or managers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or produce handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and move for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
