Lead Pharmacy Technician, CPhT (LTC Pharmacy)

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs duties as assigned by pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, and verifying medicine is correct. Assists pharmacists in maintaining efficient work flow.
• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy.
• Assist pharmacy manager and associates in providing a positive customer shopping experience
• Work as a team leader for the pharmacy
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store.
• Assist with inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain records on prescription volume and sales
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.
• Process customer transactions in a quick and efficient manner
• Understand the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss.
• Display a positive attitude while interacting with customers and peers
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
