The Check Resolution Associate is responsible for tracking all incoming refund checks and returned checks for escrow for all outsourcing clients. Sorting checks for processing within the Disbursements and Reconciliation Department and mailing checks to the client, carrier or borrower. Performing additional research may be required after checks are reviewed. Sending daily production reports to management team.
Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform internal audits to ensure all work is being completed accurately
- Review each check to determine what department will receive them
- Note IIM and client system (if needed)
- Mail checks to correct address if appropriate
- Mail checks to client for deposit to escrow
- Rush payments to carriers when policy is in jeopardy of cancellation
- Work with other business units as needed
- Follow up on outstanding checks as needed

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent attendance and no prior disciplinary action(s)
- Proficient with MS Office
- Ability to work holidays and overtime as required
Preferred
- High school, some college preferred
- Be proficient with MS Excel formulas and macros
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
Repetitive motion. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor Sedentary position. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day Worker not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
