Summary:
Proctor Loan Protector is hiring a summer Team Resources Intern to support our Team Resources department. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the team resources process and contribute to our efforts.
Interns will be supervised by and perform requested tasks alongside Team Leaders and professionals for the function. Interns will have opportunities to gain functional knowledge, enhance business acumen, and gain role and industry insights.

- organizing & tracking employee leave documentation
- assisting with recruiting and staffing
- updating job descriptions
- compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations, including federal, state, and local requirements
- understanding and relaying employment policies
- assist with employee relations issues. Escalate when needed.
- lead employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health initiatives
- updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- pursues a course of personal, and professional development.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge Required:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university degree-granting program
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
- Ability to perform 70% sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and exert negligible force frequently; may be asked to exert up to 20 pounds of force periodically, as needed.
- Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
- Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone constantly, 7-8 hours per day.
- Speech and hearing sufficient for phone and in-person communication.
- Physical efforts include repetitive small motor activity, grasping, verbally communicating detailed and important information to others quickly and accurately, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting light objects less than 10 pounds frequently, and climbing occasionally.
