Summary
The HR Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the HR Department, ensuring the efficient management of personnel records and the smooth execution of HR processes. This position is integral to maintaining a well-organized and supportive HR environment.
Essential Functions
- Provide administrative support for the HR Department.
- Manage and update HR databases with information such as new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence
- Create and manage personnel records.
- Schedule interviews for hiring managers
- Schedule pre-employment screenings.
- Preparing HR documents to include: new hire/termination checklists & creating orientation binders.
- Report new employees to required agencies.
- Complete employment verifications, including PRIA requests
- Organizing employee milestone anniversaries.
- Assist with Soaring Social Committee
- Schedule reoccurring professional development courses. (Chuck?)
- Run bi-weekly and monthly reports
- Maintain and track work authorizations and schedule out processing prior to the expiration of the work authorization.
- Assist with planning, set up, and breakdown of company events on campus.

Physical Demands
- Stationary position: Must be able to to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.

- Communicate: The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Ascend/Descend: Must be able to walk up and down stairways.
- Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment: phone, printer/copier.
- Detect: The ability to observe details at close range
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time, non-exempt: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Travel
May be required to travel to other locations, as needed
Required Education and Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years administrative experience
Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office.
Preferred Education and Experience
4 years administrative experience
