ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for using advanced knowledge of the job to advise pharmacy techs on order fulfillment and related activities.
- Supports and trains new employees and identifies ongoing training needs of tenured employees that require retraining.
- Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts internal and external to the department.
- Understand and assist with inventory processes.
- Perform all Pharmacy Technician functions, including USP 800 processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to do the job:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must have an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License
- Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, multi-task
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times
- Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
