What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager/Inside Sales position at 1800Radiator & A/C?
Assistant Manager Responsibilities-
- Support General Manager in daily duties.
- Inventory management with incoming and outgoing parts.
- Sales order and parts make ready for delivery.
- Driver dispatch and routing.
Counter Sales Responsibilities-
- Effective telephone communication with customers.
- Knowledge of and skills to consult and sale regular duty and heavy duty parts to customers.
- Accurately and efficiently use of any/all resources to research parts needs of customers for correct fit for any application.
- Ability to solve parts questions and problems to the benefit of customers
Outside Sales Responsibilities-
- Effective periodic onsite sales calls to customers in designated zone to maintain and develop business relationships and growing sales volumes
Hours of operation-
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Alternating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
- Sunday – closed.
Requirements-
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of automotive parts is necessary.
- Effective and efficient use of telephones, computers, keyboarding and the internet.
- Strong communication skills in talking to customers on the telephone and in person.
- Ability to lead and direct co-workers with strong decision-making abilities and structured organizational and planning skills.

Pay: $42,165.00 - $53,670.00 per year
