What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at 1855 Saloon & Grill?
At 1855 Saloon & Grill we are looking for an experienced bartender to join our team to help our evolving cocktail menu and beverage program! As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional bar experience for our guests. You should have a passion for mixology, be knowledgeable about different types of liquor, and have excellent customer service skills. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Creating unique and delicious cocktails that meet our high standards from our rotating menu
- Providing exceptional service to guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant
- Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, building rapport and ensuring their needs are met
- Taking orders for food and drinks, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining inventory levels, ensuring all bar supplies are stocked and organized
- Ensuring the bar area is clean and tidy, and complying with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other team members and helping fellow staff to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience
- Continually learning and improving skills through training, while contributing to an upbeat, fun, and respectful environment.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume, fine dining, or similar bar environment
- Passion for bartending and the hospitality industry with a deep knowledge of different types of liquor and their uses in cocktails.
- Excellent customer service and team skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and maintain friendly and respectful relationships with other employees.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring implementation of company policies and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
