Position Summary
As a Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in researching, developing, and launching new products for our remanufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand our offerings, improve processes, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your ability to manage complex engineering projects, foster customer relationships, and drive innovation will directly impact our growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and develop new products for remanufacturing processes, including BOM creation and failure mode analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier quality teams to certify processes and support new product launches.
• Manage customer relationships by adapting internal systems to meet customer requirements and providing regular updates.
• Drive process improvements and safety awareness across all engineering activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical science.
• 7-10 years of experience in product development and new product launches, with a focus on powertrain systems.
• Hands-on expertise in engines and transmissions.
• Proficiency in CAD software, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing cross functional teams.
Work Environment
This role involves a mix of office and shop floor settings with exposure to mechanical equipment, moderate noise levels, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs). Travel may be required to support customer engagements and supplier development activities.
