We are in search of a Software Test Engineer to develop and execute manual and automated test procedures for robotics systems. You will work with software engineers to understand complex electromechanical / software problems by working closely with the machinery. You will develop test fixtures to validate performance and functional requirements. Some travel may be required to diagnose and collect issues in the field.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated and manual testing strategies
- Help developers diagnose software and electromechanical problems
- Work closely with hardware to collect logs and execute tests
- Develop software for robotics applications and test fixtures
- Travel to client sites to collect information regarding problems in the field (less than 25% of time)
