Business Development Representative

Job Title: Business Development Representative Location: USA - Remote About the role: As a Business Development Representative, you will sell BSI products and services to new and existing customers across a defined BSI product suite. In this role, you will identify and manage sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of a clients current and future business needs and drivers and position the BSI value proposition, how BSI products and services ' Make Excellence a habit'. Responsibilities: Proactively network with existing customers to sell additional BSI products. Identify new prospects to grow the BSI customer base through targeted calls to generate sales revenue in line with new business targets. Execute BSI sales process to investigate, explore and understand customer needs to sell relevant products/services Investigate relevant resource required and provide a timeline for delivery to meet customer order & solve any customer issues. Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs, based on sales ratios to plan future sales activities to deliver on financial and activity targets. Manage potential through account and opportunity management to develop solid pipeline and produce accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner. Use relevant sales/product collateral and knowledge of competitors to illustrate how a range of BSI products meet identified customer needs, employing the price book and tools to propose main products and services. To be successful in the role, you will have: 1-year previous experience and Bachelor’s degree is preferred but experience is considered in lieu of a degree Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services in a solution selling environment. Understands role of key functions and how to engage to meet customer needs Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar to create and edit correspondence Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide internal customer service at all levels of the business Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Systems (Salesforce.com or similar) Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively and persuade others to change their minds or behavior.
