Duties
As a Banquet Server, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serving food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assisting with the bussing of tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
- Ensuring that all food safety standards are adhered to during service.
- Engaging with guests to ensure their needs are met and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assisting with the breakdown of event setups after the conclusion of functions.
Experience
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles, particularly in hotel or catering environments.
- Familiarity with food service practices and food safety regulations.
- Skills in guest relations, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
- Experience in bussing or serving is a plus but not required.
- A friendly demeanor and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
