Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety in both home and community settings. This position requires a nurturing attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform various caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing routine cleaning duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in caregiving, including CPR when required.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed; heavy lifting may be required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients, including availability for various shifts.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
