The Role: Single Sign-On (SSO) Subject Matter Expert
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Single Sign-On (SSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SSO solutions to enhance secure and seamless user access across our systems. As a key expert in identity and access management (IAM), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable authentication systems.
Key Responsibilities
- SSO Design & Implementation:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Single Sign-On solutions using industry-leading technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, etc.).
- Develop and enforce best practices for SSO implementation and integration.
- Integration & Support:
- Integrate SSO with third-party and internal applications, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSO configurations, authentication flows, and user access.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement SSO solutions in line with security standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security policies.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and vulnerability testing of SSO configurations.
- Collaboration & Training:
- Partner with application teams, developers, and security teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored SSO solutions.
- Provide training and documentation for technical teams and end-users to maximize adoption and efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on emerging SSO technologies and trends.
- Recommend enhancements to improve authentication mechanisms, user experience, and security.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
