We are looking for a customer-focused, driven, and friendly CMM Programmer/Operator to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities
CMM Programming and Operation:
- Develop and modify CMM programs for parts using Hexagon CMM software.
- Operate CMM machines to perform dimensional inspections of parts and products.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of parts as per specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CMM machines and programs.
- Maintain and optimize CMM programs for continuous production improvement.
Inspection and Quality Improvement:
- Perform detailed inspections of parts and assemblies using CMMs and other manual or automated measuring tools.
- Record and analyze inspection results, providing feedback to the production team to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Ensure all quality and safety standards are consistently adhered to.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation for all parts inspected.
- Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
Hours and Benefits
- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm or 1Micro offers a flexible schedule between 6:00am to 7:00pm
- Compensation: $25.00-$45.00/hour, depending on experience

Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous experience programming and operating CMMs, specifically Hexagon systems, is required.
- Solid understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong understanding of CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS).
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical certifications related to CMM programming or quality control are preferred.
- Additional relevant training or coursework in metrology, engineering, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve CMM-related issues.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
