Financial Services Representative Coordinator - New Town

1st Advantage Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a full time Financial Services Representative Coordinator to support our busy New Town Branch. Scheduled hours will be 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays (twice a month) 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The Financial Services Representative Coordinator (FSRC) coordinates all aspects of teller operations within the branch ensuring the daily activities of the Universal Member Service Representatives (UMSRs) are performed in a timely, accurate and courteous manner. The FSRC orders and conducts cash management duties. They actively participate in branch's goals by modeling expected performance on teller line and mentoring UMSRs in sales and service techniques. The FSRC will also provide working leadership and guidance to UMSRs through assignment of work and by providing technical guidance.

Financial Services Representative Coordinator Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Must have good communication skills. 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills required; must be accurate with numbers and names.
Physical Requirements
Talking - Effective verbal communication to convey and acknowledge receiving detailed or important instructions, accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Average Hearing - Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information to communicate effectively.
Finger Dexterity - Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together to use office equipment such as phones, computers, scanners, and other office machinery.
Repetitive Motion - Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Average Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, read email and computer screens, and operate office machinery.
Physical Strength - Sedentary work; sitting at a desk or workstation a majority of work hours. Exerts up to 25lbs. of force occasionally and required to lift up to 25lbs.
Reaching and Stretching - Reaching and stretching, below the shoulders, to access files, checks, documents, or office equipment on and across shelves, counter, and desks.

Financial Services Representative Coordinator Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Schedules and monitors daily activities of Universal Member Service Representatives and perform UMSR job duties as required.
- Trains, directs, and provides feedback on employee performance within the department; identifies performance problems and makes recommendations to correct performance deficiencies.
- Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out-of-compliance issues.
- Orders daily cash requirement for the Credit Union. Manages vault cash.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- To ensure that UMSRs balance their cash drawers, being no more than $10 off in a 30 day period on average.
- To achieve an average of 85% or more on the assigned individual scorecard.
- To coach a highly qualified staff, sufficient to meet the daily demands of the credit union's members.
- Maintain knowledge of and consistently adhere to credit union policies and procedures.
- To note observations of UMSR performance and provide on the spot feedback as needed. Escalate to management as needed for written documentation.
- To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance. Uphold 1A image standards.
