Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatric Home Care
Location: Phillipsburg, New Jersey 08865
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7 AM to 3PM, Monday through Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care for a pediatric home care client in Jersey City. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans alongside the healthcare team and family members.
- Monitor the patient’s condition, administer medications, and perform routine health checks.
- Provide education to families on care procedures and support resources.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and progress.
- Offer compassionate support to the patient and family, fostering a nurturing and safe environment.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Jersey.
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to patient-centered care and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Experience with gtubes and traches highly preferred
- Experience with patients with seizures highly preferred
