About the Company - 1st Call Home Health is HIRING! We are seeking a Medicare experienced and compassionate Clinical Director to join our small home health care team! We are looking for someone with the passion and experience to help grow our Medicare entity.
About the Role - Some responsibilities will include overseeing clinical operations, maintaining Medicare compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting staff development. You would ensure prompt and quality care to all clients. This position requires a nurse who is able to go out of the office to see clients in a home setting when needed.
Responsibilities -
- Participating in developing standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective service to patients and families.
- Supervise, develop, educate, and evaluate agency staff in the provision of care and services in compliance with our standards and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations.
- When needed, perform new intake patient assessments, initiate plans of care, supervise and facilitate home health services to patients in their place of residence in accordance with attending physician orders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment.
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Train, mentor, and support clinical staff.
- Develop, manage, supervise the agency billing procedures and required MEDICARE coding.
- Monitor risk-management activities of the agency and its staff and ensure that the agency maintains compliance and is in good standing with all local, state, and CMS requirements, accreditations, licensures, and certifications.
Qualifications - Current RN license in Michigan, Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines and surveys, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Current driver’s license and valid car insurance, Clinical Management experience in a home healthcare setting, Commitment to client care and satisfaction.
Pay range and compensation package - Pay Rate : $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
