NOW HIRING for a Scheduler / Customer Service Representative for 1st Choice in Belpre, OH. The Scheduler needs to be experienced in all aspects of dispatch including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Take incoming emails and calls and dispatching the appropriate vehicles to ensure the proper service is delivered
- Communicate any issues with the supervisor related to the staffing of all operational areas to ensure adequate deployment is maintained by reviewing daily schedule as well as absence and tardy forms as documented by dispatch personnel
- Communicate through frequent telephone contact with referral sources and clients
- Maintain and update all dispatch logs, as appropriate
- Maintain appropriate coverage utilizing established system
- Monitor the route and status of vehicles to coordinate and prioritize
- Oversee scheduling of maintenance for vehicles
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee, corporate and client records and information
- Act as reception for the office
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Ability to take re-routed office calls
- Organize and maintain office calendar while ensuring all office deadlines are met
- Assist in miscellaneous bookkeeping and payroll functions
- File documents daily
- Receive and enter data for and new current transportation clients maintaining current staff and client files
- Daily reporting to the Office Manager
- Assists Office Manager in providing driver updates regarding policy/changes
- Ensure the office runs smoothly when Office Manager is absent
- Assists Administrator in various tasks both in and outside of the office
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and behaviors toward internal and external customers and coworkers utilizing pride proficiency and professionalism
- Determine and assign the level of priority of the call and enter the data into a software dispatch system
- Receive and respond to a variety of services and complaints
- Ability to handle multiple tasks; receive and communication information to and from several sources at one time
- Perform work in a manner that is quality focused
