We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Processor I. This is a full-time 40 hour a week position located in Sparta. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for processing and filing liens and UCC (Uniform Commerical Code that are required for secured loan, ensuring compliance with state regulations and credit union policies. Review and process life and disability insurance claims for loan members, ensuring timely and accurate payment handling of claims. Perform audits on closed consumer loans files to ensure that all necessary documents are present, accurate, and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements. Prepare loan packages for indirect consumer loans, ensuring all required documentation is included and accurate for funding. High school diploma required. Strong written and verbal communication skills to correspond effectively with members, internal teams, and external vendors. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally. Work effectively as part of a team and promote positive attitudes, cooperation, and collaboration. Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality. Basic mathematical knowledge required.
