We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the mortgage loan process from application to closing, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan processing and underwriting, as well as a solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations and TILA. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth transactions for our clients while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility.
- Process loan documents and contracts in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely processing of loans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services, mortgage servicing, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA throughout the mortgage process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their loan status and address any concerns.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills to efficiently input data into the system.
Requirements
- Proven experience in loan processing or related financial services roles.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and credit analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and TILA compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
