Forward Bank seeks a full time Mortgage Loan Processor to support our lending team. The Mortgage Loan Processor is instrumental in ensuring that loan applications and supporting documentation are processed accurately, timely and in accordance with required regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect all pertinent documentation from lenders and customers to prepare loan documents
- Verify borrower information, including employment data, credit history, and insurance information
- Assist Mortgage Underwriter in preparing for the loan closing
- File legal documents with title companies and/or counties
- Prepare customer correspondence regarding loan activity and process loan servicing requests
- Input and maintain accurate loan data within banking computer system
- Process payoff requests and construction loan draws
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in the banking industry is preferred.
- 2 - 3 years of related experience in a financial services role is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- High level of organizational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with superior interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
