Computer Numerical Control Programmer

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in Danville, AR. This role is essential in ensuring precise and efficient production by translating design blueprints into machine instructions, maintaining CNC machine performance, and optimizing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise, mechanical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reading and Interpreting Blueprints – Analyze technical drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and required features for manufacturing.

· Programming CNC Machines – Develop and modify G-code programs to instruct CNC machines on cutting, shaping, and machining raw materials such as metal, plastic, and wood.

· Machine Setup and Adjustments – Configure CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tooling, clamping fixtures, and machine settings to ensure precision and quality.

· Testing and Verification – Conduct test runs to verify program accuracy and ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications.

· Troubleshooting and Maintenance – Identify and resolve machining issues while performing routine maintenance to keep CNC machines running at peak performance.

· Production Optimization – Improve machining efficiency by optimizing tool paths, cutting speeds, and feed rates for maximum productivity.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Technical Skills – Proficiency in G-code programming, CAD/CAM software, and CNC machine tools.

· Mathematical Skills – Strong ability to perform calculations related to dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters.

· Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.

· Attention to Detail – High degree of precision and accuracy in programming and setup.

· Mechanical Knowledge – Understanding of manufacturing processes and basic mechanical principles.
