What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at 1st Lake Properties?
The Purchasing Coordinator is a member of the Property Services team and will support the Vice President of Property Services by handling recruiting, negotiating, and tracking of contractors and Suppliers for 1st Lake. The Purchasing Coordinator will also assist in other support areas of the Property Services team.
Purchasing Coordinator duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting new contractors and suppliers.
- Negotiating pricing and assisting properties with billing issues.
- Managing vendor information in our systems including, AMSI and Fish/QuickBase.
- Tracking contractor insurance certificates.
- Tracking and oversight of all dumpster contracts and permits.
- Tracking and oversight of all termite contracts.
- Assisting with company-wide purchases.
- Assisting with work orders, payroll, and QuickBase.
- Function as backup support in the absence of other members of the Property Services team.
The qualified candidate will have:
- The ability to negotiate and work with contractors and vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of the multifamily housing industry is preferred.
