Role: Responsible for assisting the Loan Center in performing various duties and special projects related to consumer loan applications: generating loan documentation for all types of consumer loans: processing advances on lines of credit: boarding loan information on the credit unions core system: administratively assist Consumer Loan Center Representatives (LCR’s) with their loan applications. Provide clerical support needed to process and close member loans. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all loan applications, documentation, and lien perfection.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Performance Measurements:
1. | To produce loan documents in a timely manner, with zero errors. |
2. | To maintain a working knowledge of the credit union’s consumer loan standards and governmental regulations. |
3. | To organize and complete member consumer loan files within time frame needed to release the paid off loan files. |
4. | To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers. |
5. | To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness. |
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience | One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. |
Education | A high school education or GED. |
Interpersonal Skills | Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required. Work involves contact with others inside and/or outside the organization. Contact involves routine phone calls, emails, texts, and/or video conferences with current credit union members and/or vendors. |
Other Skills | Must have effective communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel). |
Physical Requirements | While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak frequently, sit and frequently carry, climb, kneel, lift, reach, squat, stand, walk and push/pull. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee must regularly discriminate between sounds, speak verbally, and use his/her ability to discriminate between colors. |
Work Environment | Work may occasionally involve irregular working hours. |
