Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our residential properties. Your responsibilities will include managing tenant relations, ensuring property maintenance, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a background in property management or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing tenant relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and report any issues to the Property Manager.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property showings, processing applications, and facilitating lease signings.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry for tenant files, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Implement upselling strategies to promote available units and enhance occupancy rates.
- Assist with compliance related to Section 8 housing programs and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations.
- Provide administrative support including filing, correspondence management, and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices and legal administrative tasks is advantageous.
- Excellent customer relationship management abilities to foster positive interactions with tenants.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for effective data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
