WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of construction and restoration experience, specifically working on water-fire damage jobs, environmental experience, and hazardous waste
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Basic math skills using adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to wear full and half face respirator
- Capability of working in confined spaces
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds
- 5 years of Construction and restoration experience (preferred)
- Specific experience working on water-fire damage jobs including environmental and hazardous waste (preferred)

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A WATER DAMAGE CLEANUP TECHNICIAN
When you join our plumbing and flood damage company as a Water Damage Cleanup Technician, your day starts with scheduling emergency services and ensuring compliance with company policies, EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations. You handle hazardous materials, are on-call for after-hours and weekend emergencies, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Working at heights, you use ladders and scaffolding to inspect and clean equipment. Stocking supplies, maintaining buildings and warehouses, and adhering to safety protocols are integral parts of the role. You work in a dynamic environment with potential exposure to hazardous substances and extreme weather. Your meticulous approach to cleanup duties and commitment to safety are vital in property restoration. Expect additional responsibilities as needed to deliver top-notch service.
This plumbing and flood damage technician normally works Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
