Overview
We are seeking a project manager assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide assistance and support related to project management, purchasing, and marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their project manager career in a low voltage/construction environment.
Bilingual in Mandarin is a Must. It's currently 3-5 days a week during weekday. The date can be flexible. Work from home or travel to the job site based on the project.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordinate
Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive Project related documentation
Vendor Management
- Assist in the procurement of project equipment, material and services.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Backup and liaison
- Oversee job site as a backup project manager and coordinate workers on site when necessary
- Liaison between customer, workers and project manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, project management, construction, business or a related field (required); relevant certifications such as PMP, CAMP are often preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of project management experience .
- Be comfortable and work effectively during construction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
The project manager assistant typically works hybrid , providing on-site and remote support to project manager. This role may require interaction with external vendors, service providers and customers.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
