We are always looking for professional box truck drivers to join our fast growing and fast paced operation. Drivers work with the moving crew to safely protect and transport our customers belongings with the added responsibility of taking great care of and operating our 26ft box trucks. They’ll need to be 21 to be added to our insurance, and have a CLEAN driving record. Driver/Crew Chiefs will often manage the aforementioned duties while supervising the crew, handling paperwork, and communicating with dispatch to get the job done. All positions interact and provide the best possible experience to our raving fans (the clients). This takes more than just picking stuff up and putting it down, we look for team members who go above and beyond by instinct and we make it worth it!

2 College Brothers Moving & Storage is looking for Truck Drivers to join our growing team!
As a Truck Driver with 2 College Brothers Moving & Storage, you will be operating a 26ft box truck to transport various items and household goods to and from customer locations. Our drivers are responsible for ensuring that shipments are properly loaded and delivered to our clients safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a company truck to load and unload at customer locations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with shipping and delivery standards, cleanliness and optimal operation
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any mechanical issues
- Comply with transportation regulations and document delivery and delivery instructions in a timely manner
- Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain constant communication with operations department and customers to ensure highest possible customer service
- Long-distance driving
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
- Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Verifying shipments and inventories for accuracy
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Strong communication skills
