Responsibilities:
This role will primarily focus on reporting and daily portal management (~60% of the time), with the remaining 40% dedicated to customer service.
- Input patient data into the Lab Information System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform specimen accessioning by confirming patient ID, physician information, and collection details, and accurately label specimens.
- Manage specimen accessioning efficiently to provide quality specimens for laboratory testing.
- Address data queries and make necessary corrections.
- Retrieve information from the research team to assess completeness, accuracy, and errors in records.
- Maintain the integrity of sensitive patient information.
- Participate in troubleshooting measures during system malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet data entry and cleaning timelines.
- Familiarize with current CLIA best practices and guidelines.
- Perform some administrative tasks.
- Provide customer service, including contacting customers via call.
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask in challenging and busy circumstances.
- Flexibility, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Experience in data management preferred.
- Proficiency in using various databases.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
