About the Job:
The Cardiac Technician, under the direct supervision of the Manager of Cardiovascular Services and the general direction of the Medical Director of Cardiovascular services, performs the technical aspects of non-invasive testing and outpatient cardiac monitoring for Elliot Health System.
What You’ll Do:
- Performs EKG for the neonate, infant, pediatric and adult population.
- Processes EKG’s in GE MUSE system accurately with attention to patient demographics, patient location & physician reader
- Prepares patient and assists in duties specific to scope of practice for noninvasive stress testing
- Prepares patient and assists in duties specific to scope of practice for Holter Monitor Testing, including processing Holter Monitor data
- Reports EKG critical values & critical findings during testing to the On-call Cardiologist
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
- BLS, Required
- Or ability obtain immediately upon hire through Elliot
- Epic experience, Preferred.
