Position Summary
The ERP Support Specialist is responsible for providing daily support and training to employees on the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This includes assisting with ERP-related projects, resolving system problems, managing escalations with the ERP support vendor, and performing other duties related to ERP system maintenance and support. A key objective of this role is to proactively address and resolve issues internally to reduce the number of vendor support hours required for daily support tasks. This position reports to the CIO.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to employees for ERP system issues and inquiries.
- Assist with ERP-related projects, including system updates, enhancements, and integrations.
- Resolve problems and discrepancies within the ERP system to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage escalated issues with the ERP support vendor to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain ERP-related documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to ensure employees are proficient with the ERP system.
- Monitor ERP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and address user feedback for system improvements.
- Support data management tasks, including cleanup and maintenance of ERP-related databases.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with best practices for data integrity and security.
- Work independently to organize, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and 5 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP).
- Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with vendor management and issue escalation.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and knowledge base maintenance.

Travel: Up to 25%
Location: Houston, TX
Physical Demands: Rarely lifts up to 25lbs. Position sits completing computer and phone work.
Compensation: $103,188.00 to $144,463.00 USD
Relocation: No Relocation
