Lonestar Electric Supply, an electrical supply distribution company, and its subsidiaries, are seeking an experienced Epicor Eclipse Specialist to help us manage, trouble-shoot and train associates in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and be eager to drive company efficiency and productivity using this system. They ll also work closely with the Vice President of Operations from multiple branches to direct and design system standards, improve functionality, manage updates, and research and provide insight into any potential impact to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute system standards, concepts, data flows, organization, architecture, and governance of the eclipse systems.
- Create efficiencies and standardization across all branches and Lonestar subsidiaries.
- Oversee ERP support and project requests sent through our associate helpdesk.
- Stay current on trends and issues in the IT and electrical wholesale distribution industries as it pertains to ERP systems.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies or malfunctions.
- Develop training materials to conduct virtual and in-person education sessions.
- Establish new users and manage and update end-user access.
- Act as the main contact between Lonestar and our vendor partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5 years of experience working with Epicor Eclipse ERP Technology.
- 5 years of experience working in the wholesale distribution industry.
- Experience providing Eclipse training and support a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of leading and working effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
