What are the responsibilities and job description for the Productivity Intern position at 2024?
Job Summary: The Productivity Intern will help the Operations team by helping to improve efficiency and streamline data tracking. This internship will provide hands-on experience working with real-world data, supporting productivity projects, and learning how to create useful reports that help the team make informed decisions.
Scope of Projects:
- Help collect and organize data related to production efficiency.
- Support the development and building of easy-to-understand reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Grafana.
- Test and troubleshoot dashboards to make sure they work properly.
- Work with teams to identify ways to improve tracking methods.
- Learn and assist in using digital tools for data utilization.
- Participate in meetings and share ideas on how to improve tracking and reporting.
Experience and General Skills Required:
- Some experience with Excel, Power BI, or Grafana.
- Good attention to detail – you’ll be working with numbers and data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
- Experience/interest in manufacturing operations.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- Any experience working in fast-paced environments preferred.
Education Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program.
Internship Details & Schedule: This is a paid onsite internship to be completed over the summer of 2025. The timetable of this internship is flexible, depending upon the candidate's needs. Candidates that are seeking full-time employment upon graduation are encouraged to apply.
