About Us: At 207 Small Engine Repair, LLC. we are a family-run engine repair shop that takes pride in delivering top-notch service to our valued customers. We specialize in small engine sales, repairs and maintenance, offering a wide variety of machines including but not limited to: push mowers, riding mowers, zero turns, snowblowers, generators, weed trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, etc. We are an Authorized Dealership for Toro & Echo and are an Authorized Repair Center for Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler & More. Our goal is to provide a warm, welcoming environment for both customers and employees. We value integrity, quality work, and a strong sense of teamwork.
We are looking for a Front Office Associate who can thrive in a fun, fast-paced, and family-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a high level of professionalism. We do have all employees sign an NDA. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly, professional, and patient manner.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, text message and in person, providing information about services, pricing, and repair timelines.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly, effectively, and with kindness.
- Process customer payments and provide receipts for services rendered.
- Administrative Support:
- Schedule appointments for repairs, maintenance and pickup & delivery, keeping the calendar organized and updated.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, invoices, and service history.
- Manage incoming repair requests and provide estimates based on shop capabilities and timelines (Mechanics will work up quotes, you would have to explain to the customer how much for repairs, options and a very brief explanation of what is needed for repairs).
- Communication & Coordination:
- Coordinate with repair technicians to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication between front office and shop staff.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their repairs, including any delays or changes to the timeline.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- General Office Duties:
- Perform routine office tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documentation.
- Help with the cleaning and organization of the front office space.
- Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as needed, always ensuring high attention to detail.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree.
- Previous customer service experience is a must, particularly in an office or retail environment.
- Experience with basic office tools (cellphone, computer, email, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs (occasional task if we need you to help unload a small push mower or equivalent).
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
