Here’s what you’ll do as a Theater General Manager
- Field phone and internet inquiries from potential customers for weddings, corporate events, and entertainers
- Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers and clients, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all staff instilling the highest quality products and hospitality including all contractors and vendors operating in conjunction with the venue
- Attend weekly meetings with Caterer to ensure the programming of the event is correct, services are timely, & of the highest quality
- Review invoices and menu proposals for financial and customer service correctness
- Coordinate tours for prospective customers to the appropriate staff, conduct tours when needed
- Maintain all business records physically & electronically in an orderly fashion, and supervise all direct staff of venue
- Prepare invoices, collect funds, and reconciles all financial aspects for events
- Keep an in-house ledger of revenues and expenses, maintain a fiscal tracking system to assure venue is meeting financial goals
- Maintain an in-house & a public calendar
- Ensure compliance with all governmental oversight: health, liquor licensing, parking, etc.
- Maintain certification for bar and kitchen supervisor
Here’s what you’ll already have to be a successful Theater General Manager
- Minimum of five years of customer service experience
- Minimum of four years in a management role supervising more than six employees
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Driven with high levels of self-motivation and expectations with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer operation
- Professional and personable; exceptional guest relation skills
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Commitment to a safe and clean workplace
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
