About the Role
Reporting to the Tour Staff Supervisor Eastern Europe & Israel, the Tour Staff Coordinator serves the needs of G Adventures internal customers - our CEOs (tour leaders). The role assists with the continued push for G Adventures to deliver a safe, successful and engaging tour program with a high level of customer service, by recruiting CEOs and supporting them on the ground, as well as the Operations team in the office.
This is a hybrid role based out of Marrakesh where a set number of days is required in office as set by the region.
Responsibilities
Sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding of CEOs (tour leaders) throughout Europe.
Maintain Europe CEO information database and trip-related resources
Assist the Tour Staff Supervisor with action items resulting from CEO feedback arising from passenger evaluations and the CEO forum
Manage CEO money requests and trip expenses
Ensure timely submission of all aspects of trip administration in internal systems: checking and supervising money requests, trip cash flow and post trip emails
Liaise with and mentor CEOs in the administrative aspects of their role
Manage CEO flight requests in conjunction with Tour Staff Supervisor to reduce CEO travel budgets
Support the implementation of CEO incentive programs and local awards programs
Support Tour Staff Supervisor with CEO on-boarding, system set up and ongoing administration
Act as a communication and support bridge between CEOs and the Operations team
Contribute to special projects, such as; gathering photos, for internal and external use; developing manuals, hotel databases and internal publications
Share in responsibility for the regional after-hours emergency phone
Support necessary stakeholders through managing European supplier manifests
Assist in day to day CEO relationship management
Other tasks and projects as requested by Tour Staff Supervisor and Regional Operations Manager
Requirements
1-2 year of experience of on ground tour operations, preferably having worked as a tour leader.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Superior attention to detail and accuracy
Highly collaborative individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Great organisational skills with the ability to multi task
Able to exercise discretion and confidentiality where needed
Confident and engaging presence, able to lead, motivate and influence others
Innovative and positive attitude with a flexible approach to work
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Good working knowledge of Google Suite, Excel and other computer programs
Ability to adapt to an environment that is subject to constant change
Solid knowledge of the travel industry and geography of the region including Central and Eastern Europe, Türkiye, Georgia, Armenia.
