Cardiac Rehab Assistant

Under the general direction of the Supervisor/Manager of Cardiac Rehabilitation and according to established policies and procedures provides a variety of clinical and clerical duties for the patients and staff members in the department.# Assists the nursing staff and exercise physiologists treating patients in the department and participates in the delivery of quality patient care.# EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent.# Successful completion of Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program required. 6-months experience as a medical assistant preferred. Successful completion of basic ECG Dysrhythmia course preferred. Possess experience and skill in using computer, especially with word and excel. Current CPR certification.
