What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Rehab Assistant position at Powers Health?
Under the general direction of the Supervisor/Manager of Cardiac Rehabilitation and according to established policies and procedures provides a variety of clinical and clerical duties for the patients and staff members in the department. Assists the nursing staff and exercise physiologists treating patients in the department and participates in the delivery of quality patient care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program required.
- 6-months experience as a medical assistant preferred.
- Successful completion of basic ECG Dysrhythmia course preferred.
- Possess experience and skill in using computer, especially with word and excel.
- Current CPR certification.
