Job Title : Facilities & Maintenance Associate
Reports to : Maintenance Manager
Location : San Leandro Brewery
Schedule : Monday - Friday (7AM - 3 : 30PM)
ABOUT THE ROLE :
The Facilities & Maintenance Associate is an entry-level role who is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of 21st Amendment Brewery grounds and building. This includes ongoing facility and grounds clean up, painting, basic plumbing, as well as errand running to support 21st Amendment Brewery staff. This position may assist with maintenance projects to upkeep or repair brewing or production equipment when necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness at 21st Amendment Brewery & grounds including restrooms, common areas, production areas, retail Tap Room area
- Ensures the building, systems and equipment are maintained regularly with daily checks of brewery grounds.
- Monitors work requests, complete repairs and preventative maintenance
- Maintains a safe work environment in accordance with city, state, OSHA regulations and 21A GMP & Standards
- Does general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves, cleaning floors, and maintaining Brewery grounds
- Perform various clean-up and maintenance tasks
- Determine material, equipment and supplies to be used; Order supplies as needed
- Transfer equipment and tools from one project to another as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary, and assist in stocking the inventory
- Other duties may include assisting in expansion projects, maintaining and / or operating
- forklifts.
