21Tech, LLC. is seeking a Project Manager to support our Client in Glendale, AZ.
This is a hybrid ongoing long-term contract. You must be in the Glendale, AZ, area and be able to work onsite 3 times a week with no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate up to $65. NO C2C.
Job Summary:
Manages a portfolio of information technology projects of varying scope, size, and complexity for our Client and provides technical expertise supporting projects.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, organizes, and leads large scale and/or complex technology projects composed of cross departmental and cross functional team members, in support of project requirements, deadlines and budget constraints; provides leadership and guidance to team members.
- Works directly with departments to understand and document project business requirements.
- Ensures projects are prioritized based on business needs and delivered on-time and within budget.
- Schedules resources across multiple projects based on priorities and urgency and acquires project management resources from outside the City when justified.
- Prepares and/or reviews detailed bid specifications and Requests for Proposals, contracts, Council Communications, and change orders; evaluates bids and recommends the selection of vendors; participates in selecting contract employees.
- Provides or presents periodic project status updates as well as project team and budget activities to the stakeholders.
- Provides technical information, guidance, and support to Client departments, management, leadership, and employees as needed.
- Collaborates and integrates with vendor implementation teams to configure or customize software and resolve technical issues.
- Conducts project assessments to ensure designed results meet the client's needs, goals, and user requirements.
- Maintains a high level of current knowledge regarding systems, technology, and communications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:
- Current industry trends and best practices.
- System development lifecycle used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
- Project Management principles, concepts, and practices, including application of project and program management tools and processes, resource allocation, and project prioritization and staffing.
- Systems analysis methods and techniques.
- Principles and practices of public administration, including budgeting and purchasing.
Ability to:
- Plan, organize, integrate, and manage systems installation, configuration and administrative projects.
- Establish and maintain project schedules.
- Identify information management issues and opportunities.
- Analyze problems and alternatives and develop sound conclusions and recommendations.
- Set priorities and allocate resources to most effectively meet needs in a timely manner.
- Prepare and/or present clear, concise, and accurate reports.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with a good command of the English language.
- Exercise sound independent judgment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and others encountered in the course of the work.
- Commute 3 days per week to the Glendale, AZ office.
Special Requirements:
- Industry-standard certification(s) as appropriate.
Salary : $60 - $65
