Job Description:
- Performs structural work in the construction and repair of buildings, furniture, doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roof, cabinetry, etc.
- Renovated structures and interiors.
- Installs and repairs linoleum, floor tiles, and carpet.
- Finishes carpentry work though sanding, painting, varnishing, etc.
- Builds and repairs auxiliary equipment such as fencing, signs, ramps, gates, guttering, etc.
- Operates and services saws, planes, drills, jointers, and hand tools.
- Provides assistance in other skilled trade areas.
- Interprets blueprints and construction drawings.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb, reach, bend, and stoop.
- Other duties as assigned.
- One year of carpentry experience. Vocational or technical school training in carpentry or a related field will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Employees may be required to maintain valid driver's license and may be required to drive a licensed vehicle.
