Job Title : Psychiatrist
Location : Grafton, OH 44044
Duration : 06 months with possible extension
Shift : Standard Shift (40 hours / per week)
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with intra and interdepartmental staff to provide treatment for behavioral health patients, adhering to nationally recognized treatment standards.
- Document patient interactions using an electronic health record system.
- Conduct patient exams, and write evaluations and reports.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Manage patient medication and treatment plans.
- Make referrals for specialized care or treatment when necessary.
- Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and relevant American Correctional Association standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews.
- Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed.
