Job Description :
- Provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards American Association for Urologist.
- The Urologist will provide onsite care to include clinical coverage, consultation, evaluation, assessment, treatment, minor or major surgical procedures.
- On call coverage and call backs are also a requirement not included in the 40 hours weekly description.
- Responsible for consultations to urology and will be available to discuss and or examine patients when consults are requested on a 24 / 7 basis, including federal holidays.
- For inpatient consults, the attending will meet with each new patient seen in consultation, write a personal progress note and sign the electronic medical record.
- The attending will be responsible for the management of consultation requests in conjunction with administrative personnel.
- The attending must also monitor time to completion rates, and actions to correct deficiencies in performance or documentation.
- Physician shall be available and present in clinic during normal A Health Care System clinic hours which will be established, and may be revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the Chief of Staff.
