Job Summary
The Restoration Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing restoration projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for managing teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring that all restoration efforts meet industry standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in project management within the restoration or construction industry.
Duties
- Lead and manage restoration projects, ensuring timely completion, invoicing through Xactimate and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills in restoration techniques and safety protocols.
- Oversee office management tasks, including maintaining files and documentation related to projects.
- Coordinate event planning for project milestones, client meetings, and team-building activities.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the procurement of necessary materials and services for restoration projects.
- Handle front desk operations, providing excellent customer service and maintaining phone etiquette when communicating with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the human resources department to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
- Utilize DASH and Mitigate for financial tracking related to project budgets and expenses.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the restoration team.
Skills
- Proven experience in training development and implementation within a project management context.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Proficient in office management practices and administrative functions.
- Experience in vendor management, ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
- Knowledge of human resources processes related to recruitment and employee engagement.
- Familiarity with DASH, Mitigate, Xactimate or similar software for project financial management.
