What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide (HHA) position at 24 Care Hospice?
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to individuals with special needs
- Follow care plans and assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a hospice care provider or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have a valid and current HHA certification
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
