The Role: Lead Office Manager (Contractor) This is not a remote position.

About us:

We are a dynamic and close-knit team of professionals specializing in the management of legal papers process service delivery in Northern Colorado. With over 35 years of expertise in the legal process service industry, the company’s founder has built a highly successful organization that has served Colorado since 2008. Our office, located near the Johnstown I-25 exit, operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Role:

Our office team is responsible for efficiently managing the daily flow of incoming legal paper jobs and ensuring their timely service, while also providing direction and support to our process server partners in the field. Additionally, we oversee the preparation of affidavits and invoicing following the completion of services. This managerial role is highly specialized and requires several months of comprehensive training to master the intricacies of the various processes involved. While our office systems are designed for both efficiency and ease of use, some days will be fast-paced and demanding, while others will feel more manageable. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is eager to grow and advance alongside us as we continue to expand.

Qualifications:To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent spelling, handwriting, and proofreading skills to identify mistakes and errors
  • High natural ability to visualize mapping of addresses within routes involving GPS mapping tools
  • Expertise in email communication, file management, and handling attachments
  • Knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Excel
  • High ability to prioritize tasks, and quickly redirect staff when volume demands shift
  • Experience in leadership with providing continuous coaching, feedback, and recognition to enhance performance and morale within a team
  • Willingness to be trained in serving legal papers for residential and commercial properties – this knowledge is essential for fully understanding the office operations and providing effective leadership to all.

We Offer:

  • Highly competitive payment rate with annual reviews, performance incentives, paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, and bonus opportunities. Starting payment rate range is: $48,000-$52,000 based on 40 hours per week contracted. After 18 months, a generous rate increase will be approved if previously outlined expectations are met.
  • An Independent Contractor Agreement that provides tax advantages
  • Health insurance allowance after the first year (subject to discussion and negotiation)
