Our client is a leading transportation company! Their San Francisco team is seeking a professional individual to efficiently handle badging requests submitted through a dedicated ticket system. The operator will manage and maintain the consumable materials associated with the badging system, ensuring a smooth and seamless badging process.
Detailed Description of Services :
- Fulfilling Badging Requests : Upon receiving badging requests through the ticket system, the operator will promptly process and fulfill those requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Consumable Materials Management : The operator will be responsible for managing the consumable materials related to the badging system, including badges, lanyards, holders, and other supplies. They will ensure that adequate Access Control and Badging levels are maintained and will advise the Access Control Lead when reordering is necessary.
- Temporary Badge Issuance : The operator will track and maintain the issuance of temporary badges, ensuring that they are properly issued and accounted for. They will keep accurate records of temporary badge recipients and their associated information.
- Operational Issues Communication : In the event of any operational issues related to the badging system, the operator will promptly notify the Access Control Lead. This includes technical problems, system malfunctions, or any other matters that may impact the smooth functioning of the badging system.
- Device Management : Managing and troubleshooting devices used in the badging process. This includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal device functionality. The specialist will collaborate with the Access Control Lead and other relevant stakeholders to address device-related problems promptly and effectively.
- Minimum of one year of Access Control / Badging experience for new resource and minimum three years for experience resource
- Full understanding of Physical Security Access Control Badging System and badging terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing the badging system software and related technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Support metrics-gathering activities on an ad hoc and monthly basis as directed by Uber Project Manager. A monthly metric spreadsheet report shall be produced by Consultant and delivered to Project Manager by email identifying :
- Tickets completed per Access Control and Badging team member along with the category of each ticket and estimated time for completion of each ticket (time from ticket creation to ticket completion, if completed at time of report).
- The user and organizational component that each ticket supports, sortable and orderable by component and ticket category.
- Produce ad hoc or periodic reports of tools or system deficiencies based on feedback collected from users and affiliated personnel, as directed by Project Manager.
- A monthly recommendations report shall be produced by Consultant and delivered to Uber Project Manager with root-cause analysis and recommendations for process improvement.
- Provide monthly device uptime reports to Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Provide quarterly accomplishments report to Project Manager, providing Access Control and Badging metrics, Access Control and Badging personnel activity information, device uptime and reasoning for downtime per device, and information on tickets completed and estimated time to complete tickets, categorized per task type.
- Support continual process improvement by executing on and validating existing documentation :
- Identify gaps in processes / standards and contribute original content to the systems library.
- Ensure Access Control and Badging SOPs, playbooks, and other documentation in JIRA, ServiceNow is updated monthly to provide up-to-date processes.
- Produce After-Action Reports (AAR) following events or incidents where service, process, or communication did not meet standards or expectations as defined by Project Manager.
- Build and maintain up-to-date onboarding playbooks to support Access Control and
- Badging tasks, activities, training, and access requirements to support a full suite of
- Access Control and Badging team activities.
- Conduct system training as required and directed by the Project Manager.
- Support regular or ad hoc coordination activities with stakeholders and organizational partners as assigned by Project Manager.
- Support special projects and duties as assigned by Project Manager.
- Maintain Data Tracker and JIRA / ServiceNow Access Control and Badging Dashboards.
- Ensure all Access Control and Badging team members demonstrate the ability to multitask while balancing shifting priorities and are able to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.
- Ensure all Access Control and Badging team members attend / complete security and other required EXT training courses on time.
- Ensure all Access Control and Badging team members follow security procedures for data classification, data handling, permission and access requirements, network and device security handling.
- Ensure all Access Control and Badging team members are in compliance with company policies relating to password and device credential storage and sharing.
- Support access onboarding and training of all incoming Access Control and Badging employees; ensure accesses are promptly removed for all departing Access Control and Badging employees.
