Location : Hybrid (metro Detroit or Columbus, OH strongly preferred)
Pay / Salary : $40-60 / hr / $100-120K DOE
One of our consumer goods, e-commerce, and retail clients is looking for an Art Director to join their team for an all-new contract position. The goal is for this person to eventually join the company full-time.
Must be a creative leader and visionary with proven agency / in-house experience developing omni-channel campaign concepts and big ideas, developing mood / story boards, scripts for digital / social video, photography, art direction, and more.
This position will report to the team's Creative Director and leadership team and be responsible for partnering with external agency / production partners and leveraging creative AI tools that help drive efficiencies and the team's capacity to handle increased workloads.
Ideal candidates will have :
- At least 7-10 years of agency or in-house art direction, design, and creative experience
- Strong online portfolio showcasing digital campaigns - preferably for consumer goods, fashion, apparel, retail, etc.
- Must be a conceptual thinker capable of leveraging AI tools to scale creativity and output
- Team player, able to roll with the punches, self-starter, eager to work in an ambitious (sometimes unstructured) entrepreneurial environment.
- Able and willing to take on basic copywriting responsibilities as well

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
