Role:

Women’s Apparel Designer Rate:

1. $30-$32/hr (based on experience)

Location:

Fully Onsite in Minneapolis

Start/End:

1. 2-3 Interviews

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design and create women's apparel collections that align with current fashion trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs meet consumer needs and brand vision.
• Prepare detailed technical sketches and specifications for each design.
• Create CADs (Computer-Aided Designs), mood boards, and technical packs to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Source fabrics and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final products.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in apparel design, particularly for women's clothing.
• Strong understanding of textile properties and garment construction.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required.
